US Entry Waiver — permission to enter the United States
Refused at the border? There is an official solution.
The waiver (Form I-192) is permission to enter the US granted by the American authorities. We prepare the full application and file it electronically.

What is a waiver?
Form I-192 is a request for advance permission to enter the United States. The decision is discretionary: it belongs to CBP / DHS, the US border authorities. With a record, trying to cross without a waiver risks a refusal — and every refusal is recorded.
A Canadian pardon is not recognized by the United States. The two are complementary: the pardon resolves your situation in Canada, the waiver opens the US border. See the pardon application

Frequently asked questions
Can I enter the US with a DUI?
A single DUI does not automatically trigger a ban, but officers have broad discretion. Depending on your full record, a waiver may be the safest route. We assess it with you, free.
